Award winning naturalist Colin Tudge’s best-seller, The Secret Life of Trees, is hailed as “one of those books you want everyone to have already read”. He is passionate and lyrical about the beauty, variety and ingenuity of trees.  His recent Secret Life of Birds is equally compelling as he shows how birds, very like us in the general sense but very different in the particulars, live and think.  He talks about his fascination with the natural history, evolution and the philsophy of science.
