The Bishop’s Stortford College Festival of Literature is an exciting new venture, which builds and expands upon the College’s established programme of visiting authors, poets and illustrators to encompass all ages.

We actively promote reading for pleasure and our aim is to instil in young people a passion for reading, encouraging them to be adventurous in their selections.

The week-long festival has a packed programme of renowned writers and performers, including historical fiction writer Conn Iggulden; poet Simon Armitage; Children’s Laureate, Anthony Browne; master storyteller, Hugh Lupton and performance poet, Luke Wright..
